3 limes and a jar of Harissa Paste, any ideas what I can do with them??

As well as umpteen boxes of after eights and mince pies, I also have left the above items from the Christmas feasting.

Would love to use the limes in some sort of marinade??

No idea whatsoever about the harissa paste. I used it originally in couscous.

TIA.

delia lime and coconut thai chicken is delicious and very easy

Harissa paste quite good on meat as a type of marinade

Harissa is very nice with lamb. Squeeze juice from one of the limes over some lamb steaks. Rub the steaks with harissa and leave to marinade.

Chargrill the lamb steaks or cook in the oven. Slice them up and serve in halved pitta breads stuffed with lettuce, minty yoghurt etc.

Use the other lime to make yourself a mojito on the side. Smile

Stir the harissa into plain yoghurt and have it as a dip for crisps or bits of veg or whatever.

You can segment your limes and open freeze them on a tray. Once frozen put them in a freezer bag or wrap in foil. Use them as ice cubes.

festive, which delia book is that recipe in? Sounds delish!

Will definitely try the lamb steaks recipe, as well as the mojito Smile

The Delia Harissa salad is gorgeous if you fancy something fresh: www.deliaonline.com/recipes/roasted-vegetable-couscous-salad-with-harissa-style-dressing.html
