400g dark choc
1 400g condensed milk
75g butter
Dash of vanilla essence
Heat until melted and pour into a lined tray

Chill and slice when set....

Easy peasie and the spoon that I have just locked tastes divine...

Sounds good. Lined with what? Greaseproof paper?

FringeEvent · 26/12/2011 17:40

Stealing this recipe for future use...

HauntedLittleLunatic · 26/12/2011 17:42

Yep greaseproof. And it is sweetened condensed milk.

Keeps in fridge for a month aparently...ha....fat chance.

And just to clarify that is 1 tin (400g) not 1400g!

The version with white choc and cranberries is awesome too and very easy. Thankyou!

HauntedLittleLunatic · 26/12/2011 17:49

I did wonder if I could replace the dark choc with white.

I did some with condensed milk, icing sugar, cocoa powder and butter. Was delicious but oh my God it's rich. one tiny chunk is way more than enough!

JambalayaWarmMincePie · 26/12/2011 17:55

I should say I was given this recipe by a collegue (who also has a sought after recipe for Brownies) so if it is one of you thanks :)

I also discovered this and made a big tray of fudge on 23 December. I decorated the top with mixed colored sprinkles - looks fantastic! and it tastes really nice. I cut it up into nice little squares and delivered boxes to the neighbors. I want to try adding some alcohol, but am worried about how it might affect the consistency. If anybody tries, please report back, especially if you use Amarula!

spamm · 26/12/2011 19:12

You can definitely add white chocolate, and also walnuts or chopped almonds - tastes delicious!
