Chicken legs - can I cook then freeze them?

Bought fresh chicken legs yesterday, put them in a marinade sauce and left them in the fridge overnight.

Today we all have a tummy bug and don't want to eat them.

Can I cook them and then freeze them? Or would it make more sense to freeze them raw in the marinade?

I think the rules are you can freeze twice - once when raw and once when cooked. So either is fine, as long as they haven't already been frozen, in which case you should cook them first.

Thanks - I bought them fresh but as they've been here overnight already I think I'll cook them first to be on the safe side.
