... would you do gravy with it?

I was supposed to make some sausage rolls at the weekend but didn't, so thought I'd repurpose the pastry and sausagemeat into a sausage plait (how retro!) for supper.

I'm concerned it might be a bit dry with no sauce, but I can't decide if gravy would be somehow wrong.

Opinions please?

Yes, I do mine with gravy and mash or roast potatoes, peas, carrots etc. My kids love it.
