Does anyone have a recipe for a small xmas pud?

Preferably one that's not too expensive to make if possible as my budget's limited. It only needs to be one for 3 plus a baby.

I'm going to attempt it with dd1 at the weekend if I can, trying to fill her weekends with lots of Christmassy things to do around the house rather than expensive trips out to see Santa as we're skint.

TIA if you can help me

When I read the title of your post, my first was thought was that you'd be better buying a good quality small one from supermarket than making. But I see now it's a nice christmassy activity you are planning. So I'm no help. Unless you try working to half the quantities of a good recipe, but that can be risky. If all else fails what about some nice cookies? Have a lovely afternoon baking:-)

Thanks RCOR, it was more for the something to do that I was going to do it, rather than the actual pud itself. I will look up a larger recipe from the many I found when I Googled & try breaking it down to smaller quantities so long as it's not going to leave me with random ingredients never to be used again.

If not, I've got a nice cranberry & white choc cookie (I think) recipe in my book, I'll do those with her instead
