beef in beer/wine

pork in cider/calvados

pretty much most meats with alcohol really!

I would put it on in the morning and serve in the evening. Couldn't tell you how long!

Chicken breasts x2 can of tomatoes, garlic, onion, carrots, chicken stock cube, mixed herbs.
chop roughly and place in slow cooker all day then place pasta in 15 to 20 minutes before you serve. judge how much liquid is left but pasta absorbed excess liquid and it is a very healthy and kids loved it. suppose a bit boring though. worth a try. have made it once.

P&P - is that RAW pasta added or cooked pasta? Love the sound of it as YET AGAIN ive done beef stew for tonight.... it seems the only thing i can do in it!

chilli is nice in the slow cooker

puddingandpie · 08/01/2006 12:37

just normal dried pasta. it is bland but warming and something homecooked when you come in from work and cannot be bothered to cook.
