On a budget for Xmas dinner so any advice that can also be a budget yet yummy option gratefully considered.

Cocktail sausages and bacon definitely. And wrap some bacon around fingers of stuffing.

It's all very nice to make your own sauces etc but it will cost you so buy packets and jars.

Market value and basic stuff will do just as well for the vegetables, but I don't like frozen as I think they can be quite watery.

It's just a glorified sunday dinner and it can all be done really cheaply. It may not be the best quality in the world but no point in bankrupting yourself when no one will be able to tell the difference anyway (unless they're some kind of gourmet foodie), and anyway I wouldn't care about that if aomeone was cooking for me Smile
