Not as easy as it sounds. Have posted in the allergy section as well.
DS has had different intolerances dx by the gastroenterologist over the last couple of years. As from yesterday this is the list to avoid: dairy, fructose, sucrose, greasy/fried foods, spicy foods (no curry, chilli, tomato based foods ), seasonings including black pepper, chilli powder and red pepper, chocolate or cocoa, certain vegetables (cabbage, cauli, broccoli and onions) and lentils.
He loves his food, but i'm worried that it will be bland and boring. so any ideas - particularly for a pasta sauce - would be gratefully received.

what about herbs? eggs? can he have lemon peel? If no onions are things like garlic, leeks etc out?

If he's fine with them I would be looking at stock based or egg based sauces flavoured with different herbs/lemon. Mushrooms could also be used to give a much stronger flavour.

A vegan version of pesto - basil, pine nuts and a vegan substitute for parmesan (they are available).
