Any tips to buy fresh fish without shopping every other day?

I don't like the taste of fish once it has been frozen so only like to buy it fresh. I was looking at the online fish delivery services as I don't have a decent fish counter at any of my supermarkets.
How long would the fish last if I got it delivered say on a Tuesday? Does it last an extra day once it's been cooked?

Not sure but do you have a market? We have one twice a week and a man goes to Billingsgate that morning and then sells the stuff that morning.
