Right, I have blackcurrent and blackberries in the freezer left over from jam making and blackberry vodka making. I have about 500g in all after throwing a few handfuls into some muffins.

Can I make a pudding with them? Would a clafoutis work?

I also having in my cupboards: basic sugar, flour, eggs, milk

PLUS veggie suet, green and blacks cocoa, some dried fruit mix, pears, golden syrup, maple syrup

What can I make??

If you had a few red berries (cranberries?) you'd have the start of a sort of 'Autumn Pudding' there!!

Mix in some chopped pears and make a crumble

Bother, meant to also say, I made a clafoutis once with frozen fruit and it didn't really work, unless 'really solid' is how you like your clafoutis. I think the fruit was too cold to make the batter rise. If it was defrosted, I think it would be too wet.

You could also just keep them in the freezer a bit longer. Our freezer is chock full of bits and bobs of fruit, which will be put in muffins, smoothies and on cereal until English strawbs are back in the shops.

Make a compote that you can then have with yoghurt, granola etc.
