Hi,

Making my first batch of jams. Where is a good place to buy the jars from, I don't want to spend too much on them but want the contents to last.

Thanks

I've always just used old jam / honey / pasta sauce jars. As long as they're properly washed etc they're fine. And free. I have been known to prowl the streets after recycling has been put out if I don't have enough.

If not, highstreet hardware shops usually sell them, or the sort of shop that has big plastic storage boxes outside.

I think Wilkos and Asda home shops have them too if you don't have a handy hardware one.
