Would you eat butter after the best before date?

Got a full tub of lurpak with the 26th October date, does it go off? It's so bloody expensive I'm kicking myself!

If it looked and smelled OK then of course.

It's only "best before", not "poisonous after".

Yes, if it smells ok. Its easy to tell if butter is going rancid.

If its been in tub in fridge it should be fine.

It can go a bit acrid, but that's if left uncovered. Try a bit, and if it tastes ok then eat it.

Its best before so it should be fine. Taste some and see
