We have parma ham. We don't want to fuss about heating things at the last minute.

What can we do?

wrap it round asparagus pour over melted butter and bung in the oven. Delicious hot or cold

The cook is rolling her eyes at the subject of asparagus. Dunno why?

Any other ideas?

stuff it with cheese and bake.

Eek, read the thread title as "Nipples, wrapped parma ham, to eat cold"!!

or just do like the Spanish do, get some nice cheese, bread and oil and tear it into little bits.

What sort of cheese? How much baking? Stuffed around cheese and baked sounds good ...

Bake slowly on a lowish heat, until ham is crispy. I would use something like gouda or emmental but you could use anything you want as long as it wont go to runny.. Firm goats cheese might be yummy.

Don't bugger about with it-put it out as it is.
Nothing nicer than good cheese, ham and olives with a chilled fino.

I'm with moondog - no messing, just have as is.
