Can you cook veg to purée for babies in microwave?

I know it's a ridiculous question but I have just joined the technological revolution and got a microwave for the first time in my life.

Can you cook veg in it to then purée?

Oh yes. A microwave streamer helps. I rarely cook veg any other way.
