Making slow cooker casserole with frozen veg

I have a bag of frozen casserole veg which I want to use to make a beef casserole in my slow cooker.

Should I cook the beef in the liquid first and then add the frozen veg near the end?

The cooking instructions say to microwave them or cook on the hob for 9-10 minutes.

Do you reckon it'll taste okay if I add them at the end, or should I add some onion etc with the beef so the flavours develop?

TIA

i'd stick it all in at the same time tbh

I agree, bung all in together, with the meat, chopped onion, water, stock cube or 2, herbs, bit of grainy mustard or chili - will be lovely.

Thanks, I'll do that then. :)
