This is an odd question I know but can I reuse rubbish flapjacks to make better ones?

I have four boxes of truly awful flapjacks. The fabulous bakin boys efforts are far from fabulous and the DCs won't eat them which seems an awful waste.

I was wondering whether I could make flapjacks and mix these ones into the mixture? They are really soft and sweet and would mush up easily.

Any thoughts or should I feed them to the chooks?

Mix them in with museli? Or use them as apple crumble topping?

I can't see why not. It should work, shouldn't it?

I have done it with my own when they turned out rather hard and stuck to the tray.
Turned out fine.

I have mixed them into homemade ice cream when they were a bit dry. A few raspberries and some whiskey would make a good Cranachan inspired ice cream.

It worked! I whizzed four up in the foodmixer and stired them in with the oats and they were completely disguised. At least I didn't have to throw them away! I would never buy anything from that brand again though, they were truly disgusting

totally agree the Fabulous Bakin boys are a long way from fabulous.
