ds is teething. one canine. one molar. i've given nurofen (to no avail it seems ) and as a result of this, he is completely off his food. even his normal favourites (including sweet things like raisins and he even turned down chocolate buttons at playgroup this morning!!)

offering him food is proving useless today (though i'll continue too, just in case..)

for other moms this has happened to, or is happening to with their children, what are you doing for your child's daily nutrition? right now, ds will only have formula (or whole milk, but i'm opting for formula as its got more in it..)

sigh...

my dd is 2.2 and has some teeth coming through and although not completely off her food is certainly eating a lot less. She s not drinking much either. Had a total of 9 oz of fluid (milk and water) today! I shouldn't worry too much about not eating, as long as they're drinking - that's more important. Just keep offering food - i tend to put a few bits and pieces on a plate on the floor of where she's playing and then she helps herself (obviously not all the time but when she's not eating normally). It's horrible I know - just wish I know how i could get her to drink!!!!

It really isn't worth thinking of daily nutrition at this age - I'd think about daily fluid intake, and weekly, or monthly, nutrition.

Just keep offering, and don't get stressed.
