Any ideas for Christmas day starters?

I know this is boring , thats why I need inspiration

Potted shrimp- easy peesey, as is with bit of lettuce and lemon on a plate or in the micro in a little pot with brown bread and lemon. Freezer till the day then defrehe micro - hooray.

Proscuttio, ripe pears, walnuts maybe dolcelatte too ... Mmmm

melba toast/crackers topped with pesto, sun dried tomato pieces

wholemeal pikelets with an egg may mix on top or mustard and small pieces of ham

prawn kebabs with a sweet chilli dipping sauce

smoked salmon and blinis?
I don't bother with a starter- having just made enormous list of what main meal will consist of- turkey , ham , sausage and bacon rolls, stuffing, roasties , creamed parsnips, brussels, red cabbage, bread sauce, cranberry relish, carrots ,peas and gravy. Oh and bil who is coming this year apparently expects yorkshires as he's from up north....
I starve my lot and make them go for a walk before lunch and pressies so by the time food appears they are bl*y grateful for anything!
thinknig about it my mum used to do corn on the cob for me as I don't like prawn cocktail!

read to roll puff pastry pizza style slices with any topping
min quiche

rostis
bacon and egg baskets.
parma ham and melon
sundried tomato or pesto pinwheels
