what can i do with a bucket load of freshly picked greengages?

i cant eat them all just as they are! and i have offered them to anyone who would like to come and collect (or pick!) some!

There has to be a Greengage Chutney recipe out there somewhere. You could probably just follow a Plum one and it would be fine. Chutney is always my solution to too much fruit but my Cherry Chutney is probably best not repeated.

Shame- i was just in walton on thames the last couple of days but without the greengages. i am in east surrey, near the kent border.
