How much do you give your pre-schooler for lunch

Just wondering how much other toddlers have for lunch.

If we have something on toast DC 3 will have 1 piece of toast and the topping, yesterday he had a home made pitta pizza and veg sticks, but when it comes to a ploughmans lunch I always think it looks too much or not enough.

Today he has 2 squares of sandwich some nuts, a yoghurt and half a large banana. Is that enough?

I feed mine until he stops eating. Sometimes he eats a grape, other days he has a fruit shoot, a round of sarnies and a cheese string.
I don't worry either way as I think at this age they react to their hunger well.

Some days loads others hardly anything. You need to look at the day as a whole.

We generally eat a small plate of pasta or rice salad for lunch, as he eats more of that than sandwiches/toast. A good day is when he eats a portion of that, plus some fruit. But he's a grazer, so will often leave the fruit plus a yogurt for after his nap.
