Smoked mackeral pate recipe

I've tried recipes with cream cheese or mayo but it always ends up really heavy, gooey and overpowering. Had some really light pate recently at at party - how did they do it?? And the kids ate it!

You can use whiped or double cream to make it light like a moosey texture.

use half cream cheese and then half whipped up(it must be light and fluffy)double cream - also use a bit of lemon juice.

smoked mackerel and cream in the blender, bit of salt (?) and pepper, blend for as long or short as you want the pate to be smooth/chunky
