Not pizza or pasta and I'd rather not do sandwiches because they all have packed lunch at school.

Oh thanks for lovely suggestions.

In the end, due to extreme laziness regarding shopping, I made a pasta salad with a garlic vinaigrette dressing - cherry toms, cucumber, olives, tuna and sweetcorn and lots of shell shaped pasta - and they wolfed it down.

I'd made a huge dish of it in the expectation that dh and I would have some later, but it ALL disappeared. They get hungry do 10 year old girls.
