Please share your ideas for child-friendly vegan soy-free meals

We're not vegan but I would like to cook meat-free meals a couple of days a week and we need to avoid egg, dairy and soy because of DS's allergies.

Veg soup isn't very popular at the moment so I'm running out of ideas.

Any suggestions?
Many thanks

Veggie shepherds pie made with lentils.
Lentil curry with rice.
Nut roast or nut balls with tomato sauce.
Chickpea stew with cous cous.
lentil soup
splitpea soup

Try one of Rose Elliot's older books (e.g.Supreme Vegetarian Cookbook) for inspiration.

Felafel with hummus

this week we have had/will have:

risotto (we do put soya cream in it, but obv you can just make it without!)
lentil shepherd's pie
homemade pizza
a tart made of a sheet of puff pastry (not sure if this is soy free tho?) topped with homemade pesto and veg
curry
spaghetti bolognese

also stir fry
cous cous with roasted veg and pine nuts (you can add feta for the people who can have dairy)

if you can do a soya-free pastry then any kind of veggie pie

Some great ideas thanks!
Not sure how readily my eldest will eat "recognisable" veg in something like a stir-fry, but at some point she will have to learn to eat such grown-up things!

Pasta with dairy-free pesto (available in 'free from' sections in supermarkets and health food shops)
Veg curry with chick peas
Veg stew with butter beans
Pasta bake with butter beans
Stir fry with chick peas and loads of bean sprouts
Bangers (Linda McCartney sausages don't contain soya), mash and veg
There's a soya-free Cheezley now, which is good for toasties etc.
Redwoods also do a soya free vegan yogurt now, which is gorgeous.
Have a look at the recipes on the Viva! website for more inspiration.

Have some vegetable samosas, onion bhajis and spinach pakoras with your curry too! Sainsburys own are all vegan and I think soya free.

Kidney bean chilli with taco shells

Re. pastry, Jus-Rol shortcrust, puff and filo pastry is all vegan and I think soya free.

We're vegan and I try not to eat too much soya, just because it would be easy to eat it at every meal if I didn't keep on eye on it. Can't be good to eat too much of something, I suppose.

Has anyone mentioned falafals? Might be worth a go with some roast veg and cous cous. Some houmous too.

Can you tell I'm feeling a bit peckish at the moment? Grin

have people made falafal themselves them? I make onion bahajis and spring rolls so why falafal seems daunting I don't know.

don't think people have mentioned homemade bean burgers, dead easy to make: mashed beans, 1/8 flour, salt, pepper, onion, spices

penne pasta, fried spinach (yum) and pine nuts. Very quick and very filling

I do pizza with ready made bases.

I know it's been said before, but lentil shepards pie is very very yummy

stir fried veggies, optional beans and wraps. Then others can add cheese to theirs

daals
