I plan to make this on Saturday for my birthday dinner - the Delia version which looks the easiest as I've never made it before. I'm more of a bordeaux girl so not sure which wine is best from the Burgandy region. Can anyone recommend one please? Probably looking at £10-£15 max (and then hoping that Sainsburys have one on half price offer
).
Additionally, can it be made the day before and reheated? Other than mash, what is a good side dish for this? And last one: is it the done thing to drink burgandy with, or can I have my beloved st emilion? A trillion questions. Sorry!
