Quick- have got chicken out of fridge for tonight's dinner and it whiffs... bin it or gamble with entire family's life?

Whole chicken for a roast, bought from butcher on Thursday so no date on it.

It smells funny... What should I do?

Trust your instincts and bin it. I wouldn't eat smelly chicken

cook it, will probably be ok, i've cooked loads that whiff and not dead yet

The chicken went off quick if you only bought thursday. Get a refund or exchange from your butchers .
