Anyone know any baby friendly restaurants in South London?

I would be enormously grateful if anyone could recommend some baby friendly restaurants in South London so my husband and I can resume our Sunday lunch habit with ds. My criteria for baby friendliness are - smoke free, with baby changing facilities and reasonably speedy service.

So far I can recommend Fish! on Queenstown Road SW8 (not smoke free but if you get there early not many smokers in and they have baby changing), Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Northcote Road SW11 (smoke free, but can't comment on baby changing as we were in and out too quickly to need it but this is a definite plus in itself!) and finally the cafe in Battersea Park (smoke free inside, has baby changing - ropey but adequate).

Thanks in advance.

ESt ESt ESt on Bellevue road - wandsworth common is very child friendly and smoke free - get very busy on Sundays and you can't book for small parties. The food is c 7/10 ish the pizzas are good and they do a nice little childrens menu too, balloons are provided as are crayons and hats and the staff are very tolerant of the small charges everywhere. Their rule is no pushchairs in the main restaurant but if yours is still asleep the bar staff keep a close eye on them for you. The atmosphere is very relaxed and geared towards families. Good babychanging facilities

Avoid the Pitcher and piano on the same road - the staff are not tolerant or quick when serving families it can get smokey the food and atmosphere isn't that nice.

We also go to Willie Gunns a lot on Garratt Lane in Earslfield quite a mix of clientele and you need to get there early to avoid the smokier times but again they provide crayons and paper - are extremely tolerant of children (they have know mine since before she was born we went in there on my due date and scared our waitress witless!!) But I have breast fed in there, sat dd in carseat on table fast asleep in there - just excellent - food is good and although there isn't a childrens menu they will do their utmost to create something for you. No baby change facilities though.

I have heard but not experienced that The depot in Barnes is also v baby friendly etc too.

Happy eating!!

Just in case any other S. Londoners out there wondering where their next baby friendly meal is coming from...

Cafe by the bandstand on Clapham Common has been done up and is now Oompahpah (sp?) - looked v. child oriented - they were gearing up for a Halloween kids party the day we were there, i.e. 31/10 (!) Not smoke free - a couple of mums asked two smokers to move away from the children's corner (small tables, chairs and toys) and they complied without a murmur. They do some nice crepes plus typical cafe fare. No baby change.

Probably no surprise to anyone to find Pizza Express as baby/child friendly. The branch on Abbeville Rd SW4 does not disappoint in this respect. No specific baby change that I could see, but ample space between the sinks in the ladies.

We're off to Tartuf on Clapham High St today - will report back.

That's my contribution to trivial post of the day competition!
