Bought some the other day for the first time in years, can't find my old standby recipe, can't remember all the ingredients - any suggestions for a lovely sticky finger-lickin' sauce?

Chop an onion and fry gently til soft in some olive oil

Add

HP sauce or better fruity brown sauce
Ketchup
a dash of worcester sauce
half a tsp english mustard
a dash of vinegar
a squeeze of lemon juice
tabasco to taste
stir it all up and cook for a bit
sprinkle in a tsp of brown sugar if you want it a bit sweeter.
