avent microwave steriliser to steam veg????

My twins have started eating solids so I'm steaming veg like a woman possessed right now .... and just wondered whether I could steam them in my Avent microwave sterliser. Obviously not at the same time as sterilising bottles! Anyone tried this?

Don't see why not. If it works with a pyrex dish with a bit of water, it should work for this. It would be a bit like one of those stove top ones.
