If I freeze some banana muffins, how do you defrost them?

Sorry if this sounds stupid.

I've made some banana muffins and the recipee states I can freeze them, if I do this how do I defrost them? Is it the same as defrosting bread?

Just get them out and leave them on the counter for an hour (or less probably).

Or zap them in the microwave for a few seconds.

Microwave for 30-45 secs. Leave to cool for a few mins before eating otherwise you'll burn your mouth!

Per muffin that is, so a bit longer for two.

If you want to defrost the whole batch, just leave them on the side until defrosted.
