Lemon fairy cake emergency - can I use MarsLady's lemon drizzle recipe?

I know it's the only and best lemon cake recipie but TBH I've never made it Shock. Can I use it to make fairy cakes? Would they turn out soggy cased and yukky?

Any advice (or alternative recipes) greatly appreciated, I supposed to be baking them now.

nah no hard and fast amount, just a teaspoon or two

I've made mini ones, really tiny (pampered chef mini muffin sized) and they took I think 8 mins (burnt the first batch grrrr) all depends on your oven

I TOLD you

now don't scarf them all at once Grin

Knofje · 28/04/2011 22:42

You did Grin

But, there are 24 . 28 or 30 wouldn't have been a problem, better really. 20 minutes in fan oven, 3 - 4 tsps of lemon juice - to give an idea of size. Didn't warn me of that, did you? Wink

(made too much candied zest, any idea how long it keeps?)

eat the zest with a cocktail stick some olives and some dry white wine
