Quick question - how long to slow cook bolognase (in slow cooker!)

That's it basically - have browned mince. On low for how many hours do folks suggest?

Mine's also in the slow cooker- am going to give it 5/6 hours. May be overkill.... first time I've done it!

I sometimes leave it overnight or all day and it is fine
But 6 hours will be fine too - the beauty of a slow cooker
Sometimes my bolognase and other stews produces too much liquid - then I just reduce it on the stove
In a slow cooker you need far less liquid than on the stove or in the oven

Yes, even if it looks like it does not have enough liquid, do not be tempted to add more!

someone once told me "Cornflour" will be your best friend and they were right!!!

I usually do 6 hours on slow cook or 4 hours on medium/normal setting

Mine is often on from 8 in the morning until tea at 6. Never had a problem. Always delicious.
