Naff:
Vol-au-vents with coronation chicken
a/a with prawn cocktail
mini cumberland balls on a stick (remove skins and make bite sized balls)
mini jam tarts
Stuffed button mushrooms (not naff naff, but in there! - delicious though)
Nice stuff (I put these on another thread over the weekend and added a couple more here)
Vichyssoise soup shots with chives snipped on top. Or chilled roasted tomato and basil shots with a sprinkling of parmesan
mini prawn cocktail bites served either on baby gem lettuce scoopy sort of bites or on thickish peeled cucumber slices. Sprinkling of cayenne on each.
bite sized rolls of smoked salmon with cream cheese and dill stuffing
miniature fish and chips in rolled up cones of paper (either make 'newspaper' or use lining paper if you got some) - I just make mini sole goujons and tiny chips. One sole fillet will give you enough for around 12 'bites'.
mini quiches made in tartlet cases - lorraine/smoked salmon/ mushroom/asparagus
tiny sausages cooked in grainy mustard and honey glaze
Mini Yorkshires filled with horseradish cream, topped with slices of cooked to your liking rump or sirloin
Mini tarlet cases with a smoked mackeral (or smoked salmon) pate made with philli, s&p, squeeze lemon juice and s.mackeral fillets, snipped chives on top
Cucumber sandwich fingers - must be white bread, crusts off.
Smoked salmon sandwich fingers - brown/granary, crust off
Champagne cocktails with a cube of sugar and splash of angostura bitters
Or Pimms
Puds:
Mini pavlovas (i.e. raspberry or half strawberry on top of diddy meringue and touch of whipped cream.
Mini scones
Mini victoria sponges (easier than you think) or simply red/white/blue cupcakes
That's all I can think of at this hour - if you want and recipes let me know and I'll post in the morning.....
