someone on here said they slow roast lamb shoulder for hours and hours

and i cant find the thread....

who was it... come on own up!

i want to know what temp and how long - i've got a huge (huge for 2 of us) shoulder of lamb and will be cooking it sunday with loads of garlic and rosemary but cant remember how long!

6 hrs, under aluminium foil, I think about 160 degrees? Google Jamie Oliver's recipe.

Just stick it in the over for about 4 or 5 hrs on a low heat. Exact timings and temps are not necessary. You will smell and see when it is ready.

i will do it at 150 fan oven for 6 hours i think - i like my lamb very well done but not tough!
