I read this article in the Sunday papers and it has made me worry, as I started weaning both my children, who were large babies, at between 18 and 20 weeks. Some of the stuff I gave them was definitely Organix baby rice. How worried should I be?

Given that the Daily Mail has a glorious track record for claiming that everything and anything can kill you, I would take this information with a certain degree of skepticism. :) Some toxins are present naturally in foodstuffs.... the green parts of a potato that's grown a little too close to the surface are poisonous, for example... but few are present in sufficient quantities to cause actual harm. If your children are in good health then there's no reason to be worried about what they ate as babies. But if you want to avoid these kinds of stories being relevant in future, think about the amount of processed foods in your family's diet and keep them to a minimum
