Are there rules? Or things you should not freeze? If so , why?

It drives me mad when recipes don't tell you!!

Some things freeze better than others due to their water content. I have this book which is really useful or I google things.

I freeze most things. You will learn with experimenting what freezes ok and what doesn't.

The only recent thing that wasn't great was an alfredo pasta sauce I made.

What are the sort of meals you would like to freeze

piebald · 09/04/2011 08:35

If you take raw meat out of freezer and cook it you can then put it back in

TotemPole · 09/04/2011 11:03

krisskross, do you have any specific recipes you'd like to ask about?

I also find it annoying if the recipe doesn't say, or doesn't say if you defrost first to cook or if you can reheat/cook straight from the freezer.
