to be heated up and eaten after freezing. I have the pie filling sorted (and cooked) , I have some fresh (not pre-frozen) ready puff pastry. How do I go about this? Do I stick the pastry on and then cook when it comes out of the freezer? Do I part cook. Do I cook and is there a magic way to heat it up again (no microwave) without burning the pastry.

HELP!!! (please please please)

we did this last night.

pie filling defrosted into dish

pastry on top (keep it fresh - do not freeze, or if freezing, make sure defrosted)

oven for 45 mins

basically keep it as 2 parts rather than 1 dish

do you think it will be ok i I put it on top and then make sure it's defrosted before cooking - going to be quite short on time I think and I need to roll the pastry out (as the ready rolled ready pastry is too small to fit on the dish I'm using) which is going to be more faffing and more mess to clear up in the apartment Blush
