My first ever attempt at a lemon tart is leaking its filling all over the oven!!

i'm gutted! i have been sat in front of the oven sulking...

it looked so great too and the filling tastes lovely.

i hope it will be fit for consumption, if only by my family.

it will be very shallowly filled but still edible, fingers crossed

that's the last time i try to be a domestic goddess

Oh no! Have you quickly bunged a baking tray under it so it doesn't make the oven too messy?

I'm sure it will taste lovely. And this way you'll have to eat it all yourself Grin!

well it should be for 5 more mins but with all the faffing around with an open oven, i am guessing longer! until it still has a slight wobble in the middle?

hi booboochicken if you blind bake your pastry first it will be fine. give it ago and let me know how it went tezajuice

thanks tezajuice, i did blind bake it carefully and lovingly,according to rachel allen's instructions. that's why i was so miffed it leaked!

anyway, all's well that ends well ,it was delicious, and has all gone already Wink
