My friend gave me a 6.5 litre Morphy Richards slow cooker that she never uses.
On Sunday i made Sausage hot pot which all 4 DC loved!

Ds1 has asked for vegetable curry on Friday for his Birthday.

I need a basic, simple, recipe for the slow cooker please.
Full instructions and amount of ingredients please Grin. I can only cook following a recipe!

Any other recipes welcome too Grin

i don't do veg curry but the base would be the same as for meat. i use a tin of chopped toms, some patak's curry paste (tells you how much on jar) think its about 1/4 of jar, and maybe couple of desert spoons of chutney, maybe a chopped apple, def a chopped onion and sometimes some sultanas. i sometimes add veg thats been hanging around and some meat - guess you wouldn't bother with the latter but put more veg in. root veg needs to be chopped quite finely or it won't cook.

sorry don't know amounts - thats one of the things i like about slow cookers that you sling it in.
