home made plum sauce frozen 7 months ago - still ok to eat?

what the title says. sauce discovered today in back of freezer. defrosting now - will it be ok to eat?

Id smell it

if it smelt ok id taste a tiny bit on finger, if it tasted fine, then id eat it
