Have just made a huge pot of soup and the chili is too strong. Any suggestions?

any other suggestions, haven't got any yoghurt. It's sitting there looking all forlorn and unloved.

I think adding lemon juice is the antidote to too much chilli powder; or you could add potatoes.

Milk or cream

Carrots, tomatoes? Serve with bread?

Put some potatoes in in it, they would absorbe the chilli (unfortunately they will remove the salt too...)
