How can I make chocolate bendy?

I need to make an easter bonnet for DS and DH came up with the idea of a chocolate one. I have a tub that fits on DS's head and I'm going to coat it with chocolate, but the tub needs to flex a little to fit. I thought that melting it with a little syrup might work or would that just make it sticky?

Any suggestions?

PS Intending to use really cheap chocolate flavoured stuff from Tesco

Well, I'm guessing you will be disappointed with my efforts- but the kids had great fun eating it.

Next yearI'm going to do the shredded wheat/chocolate/nest hat as despite DH daying "everyone will have a nest as a hat" , no one else had an edible hat!
