Has anyone got a recipe for a Bitter Chocolate Sorbet which does NOT need an ice cream maker?

I would love to try to make a strong bitter chocolate sorbet but I do not have an ice cream making machine. I love the strong dark taste of bitter chocolate in sorbet. I am a bit of a calorie counter so I prefer sorbet to ice cream even though both are high in calories!!
Any advice or recipies would be appreciated.

200g caster sugar
50g cocoa
600ml water
50g finely chopped dark chocolate
1tsp vanilla extract

I've made this, but without the dark chocolate, just the cocoa and it still turned out nicely. It was quite bitter but probably would've been more so with the chocolate as well.

Anyway, boil the water in a pan, add the cocoa and sugar, and whisk in. Simmer for 5 mins, uncovered, whisking occasionally. Remove from heat and add chocolate and vanilla extract, stir until chocolate has melted.

Leave to cool then refrigerate for several hours/overnight. Put in a rigid container and freeze until frozen 3cm from the edges. Whisk to break down the ice crystals, freeze again for one hour and whisk. Then leave until completely frozen. I think I ended up stirring it three or four times over about 18 hours before it was completely frozen. I didn't have a whisk and used a fork instead so there were a few ice crystals but overall quite nice considering how easy it was to make!

It's from the good food app so I have the calories etc. if you're interested...

The recipe serves 6 so per serving:

221kcal, 1g protein, 46g carb, 42g added sugar, 5g fat, 2g saturated fat, 1g fibre, 0.05g salt

Hope that helps :)
