Coconut cream - instead of coconut milk?

I've never used coconut cream before, only the milk, but Waitrose don't have any milk at present (supply problems apparently) so all i could get is a small tin of the cream.

I am hoping (!) that I can use it in lieu of a can of milk in my curry tonight, albeit I expect to have to thin it down a bit???

Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated.

Works just as well, just chop up and add boiling water to thin down or you can add straight to curry chopped and add water as neccessary.

It'll be fine, just add some extra liquid

Good - thought that might be the case.

When you say "chop" though.... this stuff is in a tin, is it going to come out in a lump??? I had thought it would just be a very thick version of the milk...?

In a couple of hours, I will find out I suppose!
