All have mothers who are gourmet cooks so my staple of tuna pasta for groups might not cut the mustard - Thanks

I was going to suggest cheesy pasta, stuff the other mothers!

Or how about home made chicken nuggets with sweet potato wedges? What do the other mothers usually cook for their LOs?

I would do fish fingers with peas and sweetcorn and ketchup [lazy me emoticon] I think most toddlers would like that.

Honestly? With that many you are bound to have some fussy ones, so I would do tinned spaghetti or pasta shapes on toast - that is the only thing I have found that every toddler I know will eat! That, or sandwiches and nibbles of some sort (which at least you can prepare in advance too).

I would be tempted to do a small buffet for them. Cubes of cheese, ham, bread sticks, fruit, crudites

i would do cheese pasta bake with broccoli
plus some good quality fishfingers (Waitrose have fresh ones) or M&S frozen are the best of the rest i think

broccoli pasta bake:
cook broccoli til al dente
cook penne pasta
make cheese sauce
mix together
grate cheese on top and bake.

oh and don't overcook the broccoli before baking then it won't break up, if one doesn't like it it is then easy to avoid.

We normally do "picnics" for visiting children - ham, cheese, mini sausages, chopped up fruit and veg, maybe (whispers) crisps, little sandwiches etc. Then they can eat the bits they like and you don't have to worry about something they'll all like. A similar buffet approach works well with pasta - cook plain pasta and toss in butter then have bowls of tuna, ham, cheese, peas etc on the table for them to help themselves.
