Can I put together Delia's Lasagna al Forno tonight and bake it tomorrow?

Am having friends over for dinner tomorrow but really don't want to be stuck in the kitchen cooking. Would a lasagna that calls for no-cook noodles and béchamel sauce be okay assembled in the fridge and baked off the next day?

Am also making creme brûlée because I can have them stored away and do the sugar melting thing last minute.

Yes definitely ... I do that all the time. Have a good time!

Ive never put it together and cooked fully the next day but I have made the day before and then reheated the next day many times and if anything it improves as all the flavours come together.

I was really hoping for that answer Grin Thank you!

Yes, but make sure it is 'wet' enough, so it won't dry out once cooked.

I have always used gordon's classic lasagne al forno recipe but I suppose delia's would work this way too
