I am trying to find recipes for a low GL and low salicylate diet. This is being tested to try and improve severe tinnitus.
Hope someone out there can help.

Thanks

I found this link on salicylate sensitivity which might be useful. 'Low GI' foods are easily identifiable.... all natural proteins and fats plus unprocessed, unrefined carbohydrates such as wholegrains, pulses & starchy vegetables.

Cross-referencing therefore, wholegrains that would be low GI.... wholewheat, barley, oats, brown rice and rye.... would also be 'negligible' for salicylate. Heavily processed or sugary High GI foods seem - after a quick look on my part - also to be high salicylate.

Hope that helps
