Freezing food made with previously frozen products - can you?

I made a chicken and leek pie tonight, The chicken and the sausage meat I used had been frozen (by me, bought fresh at weekend) and then defrosted earlier today. I then cooked it all completely this evening. But there is half the pie left.

Can I freeze it or not?

yes. you can refreeze things as long as you've cooked them inbetween.

Thanks all - esp as so fast!!!

So glad you all said that as I did freeze a chicken curry I made last week, but kept meaning to ask on here if it would be okay to actually eat.

Phew.

Reckon I will have to discard the puff pastry top though as not convinced that will freeze and defrost okay. That is fine though as I can add a new top when I defrost it, or use filling as a casserole.
