Adult Cold Buffet Food - Any Ideas?

I am organising an event in early December where my choir will perform and for £5.00 friends and family will come and listen and enjoy food prepared by the choir members plus a free glass of wine. I need some ideas for a food list to give to the choir members. Any ideas?!

bread, cheese and olives, some plates of meat, a couple of pies, maybe some chicken skewers, there are some nice salads in nigella summer book... I like the manago and chicken one...

... cold is so much more difficult to be creative with...

£5 INCLUDING a glass of wine doesn't leave a lot for food.
Could you do a big pot of really tasty veg curry and another of rice? V cheap, hearty, warming?

Or simply lovely crispy baguettes and hot sausages (with veg option) and lots of mustard, relish etc to choose from?

Much less work!

The choir are providing the food so cost isn't an issue as such. I just need quick and easy things to prepare that will go down well with a crowd of people.

If I do a couple of hot things what would you suggest? I was thinking of maybe lasagne?
