Many thanks. I used to have organic veg delivered but for some reason the deliveries stopped so I'm looking for someone else. Are they reliable/food fresh/wide variety?

But my A&C veg last us TWO weeks. What are we doing wrong? We eat up the soft stuff first and eat the root vegetables slowly. They normally stay happily in the fridge.

I use a lot of frozen veg actually, no waste there.

a week works for me, 2 weeks I'd forget about it and it would join death row at the bottom of the fridge Grin

I guess it may all depend on your delivery day - I would imagine they receive the veg once a week and maybe some of us are just the wrong day. It is nothing to do with the produce being organic, though, or it would affect all of them equally.

If it helps, my Riverford day is Thursday and everything is 100% fresh and lasts beautifully, my A&C day is Friday and you have to eat it that morning. :)

I'm with Riverford and I don't have a problem with stuff rotting before the week is out.

I was going to go with A&C but I read so many bad reviews that I went with Riverford. Oviously things like mushrooms will go off quicker than say squash but I find it always last the week.

I have cooked with so many ingrediants I had previously never heard off and I am getting quite creative. I tend to type in the name of the vegetable into the goodfood website if I really haven't a clue.

Well, the fruit & veg looks very good and the meat has a long used by date so it's looking hopeful. I'm not sure about them sending a whole cardboard box with a smaller box of cereal inside though, seems like overpackaging to me.

Chicken? I like chicken Grin I seemed to have spent less this week then I do with Ocado, I think the lack of choice helps. I have some pork and some trout fillets for the week. I can make a chicken last a few days though; roast, chicken curry and chicken wraps. Hmm.
