Can the ceramic pan of a slow cooker go in the oven?

As title says really. I have a cookworks one, the lid obviously cannot go in but I was wondering if the pan could. If so what's the maximum temperature like?

I was going to say don't put the lid in!

It should be fine, I have put mine in at gas mark 5/6 with no problems.

My pan is fine but I have to prise the lit of with a knife as the handle melted
